Our very own founding Music and Artistic Director, Lea Baker, has been reappointed to the International Faculty of Sweet Adelines International, a world wide organisation dedicated to education and performance of a cappella singing in the Barbershop style.
Lea's skills and experience as a vocal coach, particularly taking technical vocal elements and making them accessable by all, are valued here in Australia and abroad: "Lea exceeded my expectations by providing a simplified version of this quite challenging content for those not used to analysing speech and IPA".
How lucky we are to have her coaching us every week at rehearsals, along with co-director, Karen Ramirez! Onwards and upwards to the national competition this May in Brisbane! Lea also teaches privately in Sydney and online.
