In just over six short months we head to Kansas City to represent Australia in the Harmony Classic Competition of Sweet Adelines International. The worlds best small and medium sized barbershop choruses will compete for top honours, each performing a 15 minute entertainment package to thousands of audience members and 8 judges.
We recently had our first coaching session with the wonderful Lea Beverley, from Seattle, USA. Thanks to our technology gurus, we successfully accessed her expertise all the way from America. We can't wait to meet her in person in May to further hone our skills!
To help us in our pursuit of excellence, we welcomed 13 singers from choruses all around Australia. These dedicated women have been learning their songs from home and attending rehearsals via our Facebook live stream, so this was their first opportunity to sing with us "in the flesh." What a boost to our sound!
